Amy Nielson
Engineering Intern
amyn@arwengineers.com

Growing up with five brothers and only one sister, Amy really found a love for building with anything – Legos, Lincoln Logs, or blocks of wood from her grandpa’s cabinet shop. This love for building and her love for math pushed her towards structural engineering after she decided she didn’t want to be an architect. After a few years at Utah State University, Amy realized her grandpa had been building structures for over 40 years, so it was in her blood all along. She expects to graduate from Utah State University in the fall. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in structural engineering, and expects to graduate from Utah State University in December Amy joined ARW in 2017.

Education
