ARW Engineers

Jeremy L. Achter, SE, LEEDap
Associate Principal

At age 14, Jeremy decided that he wanted to be a Engineer.  In high school, he prepared himself to study civil engineering and worked for a steel fabrication shop.  “I thought it was fascinating.  I wondered who told them what size the beam should be.  How do they know it’s right?”  Jeremy received an academic scholarship to a local community college where he spent three years while working full time. He later attended Utah State University, completed his bachelor’s degree and accepted a graduate apprenticeship to research seismic testing on full scale bridge bents. He received his master’s degree and joined ARW in 2000.

Jeremy can usually be found riding his Harley or running the Wasatch Front.  He is an active husband and father of three.
