Brent L. White, SE
President

As President of ARW Engineers, Brent brings almost 3 decades of knowledge and ethical leadership to his staff, clients and the engineering profession.
Brent began his engineering career before the age of 5 with Legos and Tinker Toys. “I always thought I’d be an architect, engineer or a contractor. I wanted to build things. I can’t help it; I was born this way.” Brent joined ARW (formerly Adamson Engineering) as a staff engineer in 1983. At that time, the firm’s only computer was an Apple II Plus with a modem connection to the Weber State University mainframe. “I remember when we purchased our first MS-DOS based PC in 1985 – it had been “tweaked” to have two 10Mb hard drives and 32K of ram. We couldn’t imagine how we could ever need more power than that”. Brent was promoted to a principal shareholder in 1988, and realizing that technology would change the industry, Brent and the principals of ARW wanted to be at the forefront of these advancements. ARW was one of the first structural firms in Utah to offer CAD design to their clients, and the first to exclusively use REVIT Building Information Modeling on all projects.
Brent believes a strong community starts at home. He is completing his second term serving his local community on the Plain City Council and enjoys spending time with his family during their yearly trip to Lake Powell. Brent will be the first to recite ARW’s Core Values: Employees who place their families as the highest priority will be successful at ARW.
