Matt grew up in the deep south and loved to barbecue and play sports, even dreaming of being a professional baseball player someday. At an early age he was also exposed to the construction process as he spent time going through house plans with his dad. As Matt pursued his education he found that he enjoyed math, as well as solving problems, which eventually led him to the field of structural engineering. He completed his studies at Utah State University and joined ARW in 2013.
