Scott J. VanderDoes, PE
Project Engineer
scottv@arwengineers.com
Scott grew up playing with LEGOs and model rockets. This is what sparked his interest in how things are built. Initially he was very interested in aerospace engineering, but later in his education found the appeal of structural. His curiosity and aptitude for math and physics sufficiently prepared him for such a profession. What attracted Scott to ARW was the variety of projects, the people, and the family oriented attitude of the business. He joined the team in 2016.
Personal Interests
When not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family. He loves southern foods such as smoked meats, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Scott also has a fondness for the outdoors. Whenever he can, he takes the opportunity to go hiking, camping, and rock crawling.
