“If I had to choose a super-hero, I’d be Ironman. He's creative with technology and is willing to sacrifice to do the right thing.”
In high school, Troy worked in the construction industry with his uncle performing finishing, concrete and frame work. During that time, he was awarded the Army Reserve Scholar Athlete Award, given to a student based on their outstanding achievements in both academics and athletics. “I always thought I’d be an athlete, but my dad suggested engineering because I was good at math.”
He attended Utah State University pursuing the structural engineering field; graduated with his Master’s degree and immediately joined the ARW team in 2002.
Troy enjoys golfing, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
