Ogden Regional Parking Structure, Ogden, Utah - 2010
ARW Engineers conducted a general, cursory review of two parking structures in Ogden. The structures are located on the east and west sides of Ogden Avenue between 25th and 26th streets. The eastern structure is a three story post-tensioned concrete structure constructed in 1990. The western structure is a two story post-tensioned concrete structure constructed in 1986. The purpose of the review was to observe the general structural condition of the garages and to note any deterioration, cracking, or any other items that would affect the structural integrity. 

KJZZ Building, Salt Lake City, Utah - 2009
ARW Engineers completed an ASCE 31 Tier 1 and deficiency-only Tier2 analysis of the 65,000 square foot, two-story steel and reinforced masonry bearing wall building. A report of our findings with recommended schematic upgrade measures and probable cost estimates were provided.

Beehive Clothing Plant, Salt Lake City, Utah - 2009
This project consisted of an ASCE 31 building investigation/analysis of the existing structure to understand what would be required for an Immediate Occupancy performance objective. The design or rehabilitation and renovation is in process.

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, Utah- 2009 ongoing
Five separate structures have been evaluated using ASCE 31 Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysis. We provided a report to Weber Basin with our opinion of current performance of the building and the recommended schematic upgrades with probably cost estimates to bring the building to the Immediate Ocupancy performance level. There are an additioal 15-20 buildings that we are scheduled to analyze when they give notice to proceed.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - 2000 to Present
ARW Engineers has provided FEMA based evaluations and rehabilitations / upgrade recommendations for over 125 LDS Church meetinghouses and other facilities located within the Mountain West and Hawaii. After a site investigation, a report was prepared outlining the structural deficiencies and recommended upgrades for each facility. Since July 2000, ARW has completed upgrade designs and provided construction administration for over 70 of the evaluated buildings.

Weber State University Shepherd Student Union Renovation, Ogden, Utah - 2004
ARW Engineers provided an ASCE 31 and FEMA 356 (now ASCE 41) based evaluation of the Shepherd Student Union building at WSU. As part of the renovation, a seismic upgrade was designed to comply with the current building code.

Weber State University Swenson Gymnasium Remodel, Ogden, Utah - 2004

As part of the remodel of the Swenson Gymnasium on the campus of Weber State University, ARW Engineers provided a seismic evaluation and rehabilitation design based on ASCE 31 and FEAM 356 (now ASCE 41).

Weber State University Promontory Towers Seismic Evaluation, Ogden, Utah - 2004

This project consisted of an ASCE 31 based seismic evaluation of the Promontory Towers student housing building located on the campus of Weber State University.

Fleming Distribution Center, Salt Lake City, Utah - 2003
This project consisted of a FEMA based investigation / analysis of existing warehouse / distribution facility for potential use by LDS welfare services.

LDS Family History Center/Church Office Building/Church Archive, Salt Lake City, Utah - 2001
A preliminary investigation, structural evaluation and schematic design were provided for a renovation / expansion project.

Ogden City School District, Ogden, Utah - 2002
ARW Engineers completed a seismic evaluation of the entire facilities inventory of the Ogden City School District. Each building, 31 total, was evaluated for the ability of the existing structural systems to perform adequately in a seismic event using ASCE 31 standards. A report was prepared for each building summarizing the results of the investigation and outlining an estimated cost for structural rehabilitation.

IRS Twin Rivers Complex, Ogden, Utah - 2002
The historical Boyle building was incorporated into the new IRS Twin Rivers Office Complex. The existing building was an un-reinforced masonry building retrofitted using GSREB (Guidelines for the Structural Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings).
